Jadon Sancho benched but Luke Shaw returns - Manchester United fans' starting XI vs Everton

Manchester United fans are hoping to see plenty of changes to the starting line-up for this evening's clash with Everton.

Erik ten Hag's side make the trip to Goodison Park hoping to get back to winning ways in the Premier League. A win on Thursday in the Europa League against Omonia Nicosia was a much-needed boost after a sobering defeat to Manchester City last Sunday.

United were thrashed 6-3 on a humbling afternoon at the Etihad. Supporters have been choosing their preferred starting XI on the MEN Sport website this week and have called for four changes to the side that started Thursday night's victory in Cyprus.

Fans want Luke Shaw to start in place of Tyrell Malacia. The Dutchman has endured a tough week, being subbed off at half-time in both the City and Nicosia games. He was also at fault for one of the goals on Thursday. Shaw is looking for his first Premier League start since the 4-0 defeat at Brentford.

Elsewhere, United fans are calling for Raphael Varane to start ahead of Victor Lindelof. That is dependent on the Frenchman passing a fitness test. Ten Hag has confirmed that the centre-back has made progress in his recovery from an ankle knock sustained at City but that the decision will be "close".

Fans are content with the midfield trio of Christian Eriksen, Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro - if that is the case it would be a maiden league start for the latter.
