'There's more...' - Alasdair Gold now makes exciting Tottenham transfer claim

Alasdair Gold has claimed on his YouTube channel that Tottenham Hotspur are still looking to sign a new right wing-back.

It’s safe to say that Tottenham have had a very impressive transfer window thus far managing to hand Antonio Conte four new signings as things stand addressing critical areas of the pitch and improving every individual department.

Spurs have managed to bring in four players with at least three of them likely to be pushing for a starting spot under Conte with only Fraser Forster likely to take a backseat this season behind Hugo Lloris, but they are certainly not done in the transfer market.

Spurs have been tipped to sign young star Djed Spence this summer to improve the right wing-back department and Gold believes Tottenham are still actively looking to sign someone in that position.

(20:15) “There’s more to come, there is more to come obviously we know they’re looking for a right wing-back and I think there’ll be two centre-backs personally.”

TIF Thoughts on Spurs’ right wing-back desire…

Tottenham have already addressed the right hand side of the pitch with the free signing of Ivan Perisic who arrived as a free agent earlier this summer, however, Conte and Spurs are seemingly still wanting to add more depth.

Conte likes to operate with wing-backs in his side which means that given Spurs are competing in four competitions this upcoming season, having someone that can compete with Perisic and potentially learn from him, if it is to be a young signing such as Spence, would help both players and Conte when it comes to rotating his squad.
