The three trialists aiming to impress Paul Ince in Reading FC's friendly with West Ham United

Reading FC have three trialists in their squad for today's friendly with West Ham United.

Defender Sam Hutchinson, who was most recently at League One side Sheffield Wednesday, starts in Royals' defence. He also featured in last Saturday's 2-0 defeat by Benfica and skippered the Reading team for a short period in the second half.

Meanwhile, there are two players also on trial who have been named among the substitutes at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.

They are left-back Nesta Guiness-Walker, who rejected a new deal at AFC Wimbledon this summer. The 22-year-old had spells at Chelsea and Tottenham in his youth days and racked up 97 appearances in total for the Dons after joining from the Metropolitan Police.

The other trialist for Reading is Yasin Ben El-Mhanni. The 26-year-old winger began his career at Newcastle United and his former clubs include Scunthorpe United and Harrow Borough.

Royals' starting 11 against the Hammers includes summer signings Joe Lumley, Jeff Hendrick, Tom Ince and Tyrese Fornah.
