The stunning 15-acre Gruffalo maize just 90 minutes from Manchester

Book lovers and fans of 'The Gruffalo' are in for a treat as a massive 15-acre maze has opened in celebration of the children's classic's 25th anniversary.

The intricately designed maize maze features several of the beloved characters and is thought to be the largest ever image of The Gruffalo. What's more, the attraction is just a 90-minute drive from Manchester.

Farmer Tom Pearcy has meticulously carved over 5km of pathways into a vast field, home to more than a million maize plants, creating an impressive 150-meter tall depiction of the story's characters.
