The strange blend that makes Cristian Romero tick for Spurs and what fired up Dejan Kulusevski

There was plenty to discuss in Gold & Guest Talk Tottenham this week as our Spurs reporters Alasdair Gold and Rob Guest dissected the past week at the Premier League club.

The duo delved into Tottenham's 3-1 victory against a much-changed Leicester City side in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, with two goals from Son Heung-min and one for Harry Kane. Spurs climbed briefly back into fourth place with the win before Arsenal's 2-1 win at West Ham later in the day.

The performance of Cristian Romero was also analysed in the podcast episode, including the special blend that makes the 24-year-old Argentine such a unique player for Antonio Conte's side. Son's goals and in particularly that remarkable curling second goal were also discussed and how the South Korean star has worked on those kind of shots thousands of times on the training ground since he was a child.

Then there is Dejan Kulusevski, who was dropped from the starting line-up at the weekend but ended up coming off the bench and providing assists for both of Son's strikes, making it eight assists in 14 Premier League games for the 22-year-old Swede.
