The squad numbers available to Hull City incomings as Mallik Wilks heads for exit

Hull City's No.7, Mallik Wilks is nearing a move to League One outfit Sheffield Wednesday. Despite impressing in the third tier for Hull, he failed to hit the same heights for the Tigers in the Championship last season, and is now on the verge of returning to that league with the Owls.

Should that move be completed, Wilks would leave the No.7 shirt vacant at Hull, making it one of several available to any incomings who arrive at the MKM Stadium this summer. Starting from the lowest , shirts 1 to 5 are all currently occupied, but 6 and soon-to-be 7, will both have no owner.

Numbers 8, 10 and 11 are currently held by Greg Docherty, George Honeyman and Keane Lewis-Potter respectively, whilst the high profile number 9 remains vacant. Outside the first 11, availability of numbers begins to increase, with 13, 14, 20, 23, 24, 26, 29, 30 and 31 all able to be picked by new players, or emerging youngsters.

Goalkeeper Harvey Cartwright currently holds the highest squad number with 32, with all above that available to use as well. One player, Andrew Cannon, is currently without a squad number, but there are plenty available should he be given one.
