Blockbuster summer arrivals start for Hull City against Malaga

Two of Hull City’s blockbuster summer signings have been handed their first starts in the black and amber.

Promotion winner Jean Michael Seri and Oscar Estupinan will both line-up in City’s starting XI for Saturday night’s clash with Malaga as the Tigers round off their summer tour abroad at the Marbella Football Centre.

Seri starts in midfield along with Regan Slater in front of Matt Ingram in goal, Jacob Greaves, Tobias Figueiredo, Alfie Jones Callum Elder and Lewie Coyle the wing-backs, Allahyar and Ryan Longman flanking central striker Oscar, whose move to the MKM Stadium was officially announced earlier this week.

Greg Docherty is absent from the game after flying him on Wednesday to be at the birth of his baby. Ozan and Robson are on the bench.

Nathan Baxter sits the game out after picking up a small problem in training on Wednesday, and fresh from the morning win over Brighton’s Under-23s, David Robson takes his place on the bench - the Tigers won that 2-1 courtesy of a brace from Tyler Smith.

Facing Malaga will be City’s third game of their trip abroad after last Sunday’s mammoth showdown with Fenerbahce and the early morning outing with Albion.

City’s players will return to England on Sunday to prepare for Wednesday night’s home clash with Premier League side Leicester City, with a crowd of over 8,000 expected at the MKM Stadium.

City’s starting XI: Ingram, Elder, Figueiredo, Greaves, Jones, Coyle, Seri, Slater, Allahyar, Longman, Oscar. Subs: Ozan, Robson,
