Currently forests and woodlands are undergoing a transformation as trees prepare to shed their leaves for the winter. This means we’re treated to glorious, colourful displays of oranges, yellows, reds and golds.

Add some late October sunshine and crunchy leaves underfoot to the mix and you’ve got yourself an atmospheric autumn walk. Tempted? Then we’ve got a route for you - and it's been described as a “lovely autumn walk”.
