The eight players who could leave Manchester United on transfer deadline day

Manchester United are as invested in outgoings as they are further signings before the transfer window. Up to eight players could, potentially, leave Old Trafford between now and the impending 11pm cut-off for the Premier League on Friday night.

With back-up goalkeeper Altay Bayindir now on the way from Turkish side Fenerbahce to offset Dean Henderson signing for Crystal Palace on a permanent basis, United are also exploring the loan market with moves for Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella and Sofyan Amrabat.

Erik ten Hag previously worked with Amrabat at Utrecht and the midfielder's current club, Fiorentina, are understood to be open to allowing him to go elsewhere. But arrivals are dependent somewhat on outgoings and here are eight players who could depart United in the closing hours of the window.

Dean Henderson: Signed and sealed. All that is left for United and Palace to do is announce that move after they came to an agreement over his transfer. Henderson will cost the Eagles around £20million plus add-ons.

Eric Bailly: Deemed surplus to requirements, the Ivory Coast defender does not even have a squad number after Ten Hag decided to take No.3 away from him this summer.
