With more than 360 in-store pharmacies across the UK serving more than half a million customers each week, Tesco is here to help. They make it easy for you to grab your prescriptions, access their extensive healthcare services, or talk to their expert pharmacists during your weekly shop.

Many people struggle to fit in essential health checks around their busy lifestyles. When you’re short on time, relying on online sources for answers to tricky health worries can often be more stressful than reassuring.

"That’s why we offer quick and convenient pharmacy services, health advice, and health and wellness products in our pharmacies that our customers can use while they’re already in the store," explains Tom Lye, Tesco’s category director for health and wellness.

From flu jabs and vaccines to weight management services, Tesco’s in-store pharmacies are a one-stop-shop for friendly advice. "Just a few minutes in store can provide vital reassurance or the help our customers need," says Tom.

Pharmacists can also save your precious time by prescribing treatment for several common conditions, including sore throats, earaches, infected insect bites, sinusitis and UTIs, through the NHS Pharmacy First service, removing the need to make an appointment with your GP.

There’s help for longer-term health issues too.

"Our Tesco Pharmacists have completed extra training from Cancer Research UK, Diabetes UK and British Heart Foundation to provide information and support, raise awareness, and reduce the risk of cancer, heart and circulatory diseases, and type 2 diabetes," reveals Tom.
