Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has his eyes on a Double this season with the title within touching distance – and he could see off some Rangers records along the way.

The Hoops know any slip-up from Philippe Clement's side in their final two games against Dundee and Hearts would see a third consecutive title make its way to Glasgow's east end – while Rodgers' men can win it themselves with just a point from their remaining Scottish Premiership fixtures against Kilmarnock and St Mirren. But with the league all-but decided attention is quickly turning to the next derby blockbuster between the Glasgow heavyweights.

The Scottish Cup Final will likely see both sides pushing for a double – with Rangers already claiming the League Cup this season – while Celtic should have the Premiership title tucked away in the Celtic Park trophy cabinet once again. However, a win for Rodgers' men could see a checklist of Ibrox records tumble.

While Celtic have dominated the cup competitions in recent seasons, Rangers have done enough to keep pace with their rivals and jointly hold the record for European domestic cup victories.
