Tess Daly and Vernon Kay told 'it can be done' as they reach major milestone

Tess Daly and Vernon Kay have celebrated a major milestone in their life together. The couple tied the knot 20 years ago and took to Instagram to post throwback snaps from their big day in 2003.

Strictly Come Dancing presenter Tess, 54, and BBC Radio 2 host Vernon, 49, have two daughters, Phoebe, 18, and Amber, 13. Tess took to social media to share some nostalgic pictures, along with a picture of a cake commemorating their two-decade anniversary.

She captioned the photos by saying: "Cannot believe it's 20 years ago today! always @vernonkay".

Vernon also posted a wedding photo on his own Instagram, writing "20yrs!!" alongside three love heart emojis.

The couple exchanged vows in Vernon's hometown of Horwich at St Mary's Church. Tess wore a white strapless A-line dress, adorned with crystals and designed by Marina Ananou.

She completed her bridal look with a long white net veil, a tiara, and a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes. Vernon donned a white suit which he paired with a pink shirt and a pearl-coloured tie.

Celebrity friends and fans sent congratulatory messages in the Instagram comments. Mollie King said "Huge congrats!! Happy anniversary" while former Coronation Street star Kym Marsh wrote: "Congrats to you both you beautiful pair."

Leigh Francis said "Congratulations! What a lovely wedding" and Tess' Strictly co-host Claudia Winkleman left four love heart emojis.
