Talbot Road incident: Police on scene with cordon in place
Police are on the scene of an ongoing incident in Old Trafford tonight (Sunday) with a road taped off. Emergency services are currently in attendance on Talbot Road, beside Gorse Hill Park.
The road is cordoned off in both directions with traffic being diverted. One witness in a local social media group said there were 'loads of police' at the scene.
It is understood officers have cordoned off the road from the junction with Chester Road since around 7.30pm. Further details about the ongoing incident are yet to be confirmed.
Pictures from the scene showed a heavy police presence. Greater Manchester Police have been approached for more information.
