Switzerland reach World Women's Curling Championships final unbeaten

Switzerland and Norway moved straight into the semi-finals of the World Women's Curling Championships following the conclusion of the pool stage in Sandviken. An 5-3 victory over South Korea in the final round of matches on Friday night saw Switzerland move into the last four with an unblemished record, with 12 wins in as many matches.

Tomorrow will see four teams battle it out in an additional qualification round to try and reach the last four, with action underway at 10am local time. Hosts Sweden will face Italy with Switzerland awaiting the winner of that, while Canada — who finished third at the end of the pool stage — take on Japan for a chance to play Norway.
