Switzerland top the round robin table at the World Curling Championships

Switzerland topped the men's World Curling Championships round robin table with an impressive undefeated record. Benoit Schwarz's rink have stormed to an 11-0 victory record in Ottawa, cruising into the semi-finals in first place.

Ad Scotland joined the Swiss as automatic qualifiers after their final round-robin victory placed them second overall in the rankings. Elsewhere, Germany picked up an 8-5 victory over Japan to round off their World Championship performance whilst Norway grabbed a late 6-4 win over Turkey to secure their spot in the qualification round.
