Suspect named after man 'killed' in Greater Manchester
A man has pleaded not guilty to the manslaughter of a man in Trafford.
Tyren Pollard, 51, appeared at Manchester Crown Court this morning (October 11), to enter not a guilty plea to the unlawful killing of Bernard Hirsch in March 2020.
He has also entered a not guilty plea in relation to the wounding of Mr Hirsch in December 2017.

The particulars of the charge read out in court stated that on December 11 2017 in Trafford, Mr Pollard is alleged to have unlawfully and maliciously wounded Mr Hirsch. The court heard that on March 28 2020, Mr Pollard is alleged to have unlawfully killed Mr Hirsch.
During the brief hearing, administration matters in relation to the trial were discussed between parties. A trial date was set for July 15 2024, and was estimated to last up to seven days.
Mr Pollard, of Newbury Avenue, Sale, will next appear at Manchester Crown Court on March 22 2024 for a further case management hearing. He was granted unconditional bail.
