Sundowns legend Kekana calls time on illustrious football career
Veteran midfielder Hlompho Kekana announced his retirement from the game with immediate effect on Tuesday.
The 37-year-old took to Twitter confirming that he will now venture into life after football as he calls time on professional career that kick-started at Black Leopards in the early 2000s.

He then moved to SuperSport United, where he tasted glory of winning back-to-back PSL titles under the guidance of then-coach Gavin Hunt.
Two years later, Kekana opted for a move to the now defunct Bloemfontein Celtic but stayed only for a season before returning to Tshwane but signing for Mamelodi Sundowns.
Kekana would claim legendary status at Masandawana, winning multiple league titles including the 2016 CAF Champions League and the 2017 CAF Super Cup all while wearing the captain's armband.
Kekana notched over 230 appearances for the Brazlians, scoring 28 goals, some of which have been audacious strikes.
The midfielder has also been capped 30 times for Bafana Bafana.
