Subway to give out thousands of footlong treats at one Manchester location this week

Subway has announced it will be handing out thousands of free footlong goodies at one city centre location this week - and there will also be magic tricks in store for the lucky few in line too.

The popular sandwich chain has just launched its Footlong Sidekicks range which not only includes a Footlong Cookie, but also a Footlong Cinnabon Churro and three different Footlong Dippers filled wraps.

To coincide with the launch, Subway will be giving out thousands of the newest menu additions - which are surely set to be a viral favourite any time soon - in Spinningfield Square this Thursday (July 4).

The freebies will be handed out between 11am and 8pm and, as ever, will operate on a first come, first served basis. To make things extra special, street magician Ben Hanlin will also be on hand to demonstrate some mind-bending tricks.

The Footlong Cookie is jam-packed with gooey chocolate chips, whilst the Cinnabon Churro features a sprinkling of Cinnabon’s world-famous mix of Makara cinnamon and sugar and served warm alongside a caramel dip that’s perfect for tucking into.

The new Footlong Sidekicks range also includes three different Footlong Dippers - made up of tortilla wraps filled with cheese and served with a signature dip. They are available to order in Turkey & Cheese, Pepperoni & Cheese, or Triple Cheese flavours.

The Footlong Sidekicks were an immediate success when launched in the US at the start of the year and fans were quick to get their hands on the footlong goodies when they debuted here earlier this month.
