Strictly Come Dancing stars support Dianne Buswell as she reflects on 'obsession' following final

Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell reflected on her personal growth after losing out on the Glitterball trophy on Saturday night.

The star, 34, was partnered with actor Bobby Brazier, 20, for an emotional season on this year's edition of the BBC dance competition. Dianne and Bobby were in second place following the judges scores on Saturday night, earning 117 points out of a possible 120.

Bury-born theatre star Layton Williams and dance partner Nikita Kuzmin received a total score of 119 points, while soap actress Ellie Leach - also from Bury - and partner Vito Coppola placed bottom of the final leaderboard having received a total of 115 points.

However, it was the public vote that ultimately decided who were crowned champions and who was given the winning title this year and despite their lower combined score on the night, that was Ellie and Vito.

Dianne shared her thoughts on her Strictly experience this year, while celebrating her fellow contestants and dance partner Bobby. She shared a sweet photo of her and Bobby with her 989k Instagram followers, of the pair hugging and beaming with the Strictly set and crew behind them.

Captioning the post, she revealed what her 'win' of the series was. Emotional Dianne admitted: "I used to be so obsessed with winning a sparkly trophy constantly thinking about that moment and what it would feel like ! but what i have realised dancing with this wonderful human is that the win and the sparkle is everywhere if you want it to
