Strictly Come Dancing fans are hysterical and say he 'did not just say that'

Fans were howling after Strictly Come Dancing star Nigel Harman made a hilarious comment about keeping his energy levels up for his next performance.

The former EastEnders actor appeared on Strictly spin-off show It Takes Two on Tuesday night (November 7) with his professional dancing partner Katya Jones. While chatting to presenter Fleur East about last Saturday's performance and what viewers can expect this coming weekend, the couple raised a few laughs after Nigel was presented with a bowl of sweets.

Fleur said to Nigel, handing him a bowl of sweets: "You mentioned on the results show about the support you are getting from the neighbourhood kids, sweets to top up your energy. So from the It Takes Two family, we got you some sweets."

Katya jokingly asked: "Is it just for Nigel? What about me?" Nigel then handed her an orange sweet and jokingly told his partner: "You can have that one. Suck it and put it back."

Fans on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) were amused by the comment. "Nigel did NOT just say that," @RyanJackMum commented, followed by laughing emojis. While @Lost_In_Films_ wrote: "Suck it and put it back," also followed by a laughing emoji.

And @magso5 added: "I like Nigel because he doesn't take himself too seriously." While @laura_haistead shared: "Nigel was distracted INSTANTLY by those sweets." Fans were also quick to comment on Nigel and Katya's 'amazing' performance on Saturday.

Katya revealed on It Takes Two that she had ended their performance at the weekend with a bow because of how impressed she had been by Nigel
