Stick or twist - what Hull KR should do with remaining off-contract players

After yesterday's announcement that Jimmy Keinhorst has signed a new deal with the club, Hull KR now have nine players out of contract at the end of 2022, including captain Shaun Kenny Dowall. Future head coach Willie Peters will have ultimate say in the recruitment and retentions at Sewell Group Craven Park, with Rovers on the lookout for new recruits to bolster their side next year.

Hadley joined Rovers initially on loan from Hull FC back in 2019 but looks to have found a home in East Hull over the recent years. A player who always gives 100% and understands what the club stands for, Hadley has recently suffered from a bad run of injuries as of late but still brings a wealth of experience with him when he takes to the field. The back-rower admitted to Hull Live that he is desperate to extend his stay at the club, and it would be worth extending Hadley's deal and using him when needed as a utility forward in 2023.

The Tongan international has struggled to make a significant impact since joining Rovers from Melbourne Storm in 2021. Vete has found it hard to put a run of games together, with injuries and suspensions keeping him on the sidelines more time than not. Vete has shown glimpses of what he showed in the NRL but ultimately hasn't had the impact he or the club will have expected.
