Stewartry Sirens on course for regional play-off series glory

Stewartry Sirens are on course to win the regional play-off series.

They recorded a fine 39-12 win against Dundee Valkyries on Saturday.

That leaves them top of the group, 10 points clear of nearest challengers Dundee and Ayr – both of whom have just one game left compared to the Sirens’ two.

Phaedra Snailham scored four tries on Saturday with two for Jade Stewart and one for Claire Manson. Lisa Ritchie added two conversions.

At the same time, the under-14 Sharkettes produced two wins and two draws in Dundee.

The Sirens’ final home game is against Ayr on Saturday, April 6. Kick-off 2pm.
