Startling Erling Haaland stat should terrify Man City's Premier League rivals

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has made an electric start to the season after joining from Borussia Dortmund in the summer - and the Norwegian star looks set to break a number of Premier League records this term.

Haaland has registered 17 goals in 11 matches in all competitions for Pep Guardiola's side so far this season, which has included 14 strikes in the Premier League. The 22-year-old has also helped himself to three hat-tricks - the most recent of which came against rivals Manchester United in the derby on Sunday.

The frontman also bagged three goals against Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace, and scored against West Ham, Newcastle, Aston Villa and Wolves. Bournemouth were the only side that prevented the Norway international from finding the back of the net, but the Cherries did lose 4-0.
