Stacey Solomon says 'it's only taken me 15 years' as fans left 'crying' over 'first'

Stacey Solomon has said it's taken her '15 years' to be recognised for one of her many career moves as she represented the Sort Your Life Out team at the Royal Television Society Programme Awards (RTS) which took place on Tuesday evening (March 26).

The presenter's hit BBC One programme sees Stacey and her team of experts - organiser Dilly Carter, carpenter Rob Bent and cleaner Iwan Carrington - help families transform their homes in a life-changing declutter.

And ahead of the latest episode, Stacey revealed she wasn't home to watch it as she'd been keeping some news from her fans. Taking to Instagram, the 34-year-old looked sensational as she sported an ivory bridal-style gown that boasted a bandeau top and drape on top of the skirt.

She beamed for the camera while her blonde locks flowed down one side having been styled into a soft curl with one side tucked behind her ears. She was also seen posing with her husband Joe Swash who looked dapper in a three-piece black suit as he accompanied his wife to the star-studded event.

"Honoured," mum-of-five started the caption of her post to her 5.9 million followers. "Off to the RTS awards because I have been nominated for a Royal Television Society award for 'Best Presenter' [crying emoji] & 'Best popular Factual Show' for Sort Your Life Out [crying emojis]."
