Stacey Solomon fans 'forget' about her past as they flood her with compliments after special move

Stacey Solomon has been flooded with compliments after surprising fans with a moment that took her back to her fame roots. The Loose Women star answered fans' request after revealing she had been asked to sing at her grandmother's care home for her 95th birthday.

Stacey was delighted earlier this year when her beloved grandmother agreed to move closer to her and other members of their family in Essex. It has meant she and her own five children have been able to spend more time together, including her special birthday on Saturday (December 16).

Not one to ignore her grandmother's requests, Stacey looked a million dollars as she slipped into what looked like a velvet figure-hugging Nadine Merabi jumpsuit that boasted a bedazzled square neckline and long sleeves. She had earlier taken to her Instagram Story and shared her reluctance at wanting to sing again, almost 15 years after she made it to the final of ITV's The X Factor.

But after being inundated with messages from her millions of followers asking her to post a video of evidence of her return to singing, Stacey eventually obliged. The mum-of-five, 34, sounded incredible as she belted out Somewhere Over The Rainbow.

Alongside the video, posted to her 5.8 million followers, Stacey said: "Happy 95th Grandma. I sang Christmas songs for grandma & her friends at the care home today for her birthday… You all messaged me asking if I’d post some singing on here. I find it all very embarrassing tbh and I feel like a cringe but it’s Christmas so here you go…"
