Sparta sharpshooter WILL face Rangers but Europa League clash comes too soon for Prague skipper

Sparta Prague will be buoyed for their visit to Rangers on Thursday evening after it was confirmed that star forward Lukas Haraslin will be available to lead the line ahead of the trip to Govan.

Haraslin missed the previous clash between the two in Prague late last month with injury. And it told as Philippe Clement's side gained a valuable point away at the reigning Czech champions to keep them firmly in the driving seat for Europa League progression.

A calf injury has kept the striker out of action for a month and it's been telling on the pitch - no goals against the Light Blues and a loss to Mlada Boleslav had threatened to turn their season upside down. But his return will uplift the mood in the Sparta camp, and even with skipper Ladislav Krejci being ruled out of action, it's a huge boost for the away side with some labelling the 27-year-old as 'unstoppable'.

Speaking to Czech outlet Sport.cz, Sparta boss Brian Priske couldn't hide his delight at the striker being back in action as he bids to grab at least a point from Ibrox.

He said: "Of course I'm glad he's back. Yes, he will be available for the next match on Thursday in Glasgow and on Saturday in Banik."

And it's a return that has been highly welcomed in the Czech capital, with the same publication labelling Haraslin as unstoppable. He's scored 10 goals and assists combined in the Fortuna Liga this season across 464 minutes - a goal contribution practically every half.

And alongside grabbing the early opener that sparked a remarkable comeback from a 3-1 first-leg loss against Dinamo Zagreb to win 5-4 in the qualifiers, Rangers must beware of Haraslin keeping Sparta's European tour alive.
