Kris Boyd in cheeky Rangers TV goad as Ibrox hero tells pundit 'nobody's interested' in other teams

Kris Boyd has been left giddy over Rangers' whirlwind start against Sparta Prague as Philippe Clement's side take a big step to post-Christmas football in Europe.

The Light Blues blew the Czech side away in the first half with goals from Danilo and Todd Cantwell ensuring a 2-1 victory in Europa League Group C after a late Sparta fightback. It moves them onto seven points, sitting in second with three points of a gap between them and their visitors to Ibrox on Thursday. A draw in Prague on matchday three means they can seal a knockout round spot by beating Limassol at home next time out due to their better head-to-head record.

After the second goal went in, the cameras cut to former striker Boyd, who was on Sky Sports punditry duties. And colleague Lee Hendrie got shifted out the road for what he believed was the only show in town. He said: "Nobody's interested Hendo, get off, it's all about the Rangers tonight!

"It's a great ball from John Lundstram. A lovely long ball and Sima makes a lovely run, it comes off the back of one of the defenders.

"It drops to Danilo who plays a ball to Cantwell. He just cuts inside on his left foot and rolls it past the goalkeeper into the far corner, it's a lovely goal from Rangers."
