Southern Counties East round-up: Injury-time goals from substitutes Joe Healy and Dean Grant give champions-elect Whitstable victory over Erith & Belvedere

Premier Division leaders Whitstable scored twice in injury time to beat Erith & Belvedere 2-1 in a dramatic finish at the Belmont.

Town, trailing to a first-half Ryan Fowler goal, looked set to suffer just a third league defeat of the season.

But a dramatic late turnaround saw Joe Healy level in the third minute of added time before fellow substitute Dean Grant scored a 95th-minute winner.

Jamie Coyle’s champions-elect remain 18 points clear of second-placed Fisher, who won 5-0 at Holmesdale.

Larkfield & New Hythe, in third, lost to a stoppage-time goal at home to Phoenix Sports.

Tyler Ibe appeared to have rescued a point for the Larks after converting an 88th-minute penalty.

But Jamarie Brissett added to his opener by scoring the winner in the first minute of added time.

Bearsted were twice pegged back in a 2-2 draw at home to Hollands & Blair.

Kevin Stevens’ fourth-placed Bears struck through Jack Palmby and Sam Flisher, with Dieko Falade and Luke Exall on target for the visitors.

Rusthall, in fifth, lost a two-goal lead away to Corinthian.

Charlie Clover’s early goal and a Thompson Adeyemi strike put the Rustics in charge but Tom Mitcham and an 87th-minute equaliser from Jamie Billings made it 2-2.

FA Vase semi-finalists Punjab United beat relegation-threatened Faversham Strike Force 2-1 courtesy of Roman Campbell and Will Johnson-Cole. Josh Oliver replied for Strike Force.

Snodland Town slipped to 11th, five points outside the play-offs, after losing 2-1 at Sutton Athletic.

Sam Wood gave Town a fifth-minute lead but Conor Evans levelled and Omotunmise Akanni won it for Sutton just past the half-hour mark.

Jamie Philpot’s second-half penalty gave Chislehurst Glebe a 1-0 win at bottom side Stansfeld.

Hythe remain seven
