Sorba Thomas reveals what makes Huddersfield Town such a special club to play for

Sorba Thomas has admitted that Huddersfield Town’s fans are what makes the club such a special team to play for.

The Wales international has made considerable strides in terms of his development since sealing a move to the John Smith’s Stadium last year following a stint at Boreham Wood.

Particularly impressive during the current campaign, Thomas has played a significant role in his side’s success in the Championship.

In the 33 league games that he has featured in for the Terriers, Thomas has managed to provide his team-mates with nine assists whilst he has also scored three goals at this level.

Having set up a goal in Huddersfield’s 2-1 victory over Fulham last weekend, the 23-year-old will be brimming with confidence heading into his side’s showdown with Cardiff City tomorrow.

The Terriers could potentially move up to third in the Championship standings if they seal all three points in this fixture and results elsewhere go their way in the midweek fixtures.

Asked on the latest edition of the Sky Sports EFL Podcast about what makes Huddersfield such a special team to play for, Thomas said: ” [The] Fans.

“When they are cheering you hear it, when they boo you hear it.

“Do you know what I mean?

“They are so loud and even outside of football, if I’m walking through the town and they are just everywhere and yeah, it’s an amazing feeling.

“I’d say the fans.”
