Sofyan Amrabat drops fresh transfer 'hint' amid Manchester United links

Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat has dropped a potential hint about his future amid ongoing links connecting him with a move to Manchester United.

The 26-year-old has been closely linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent months, as well as several other Premier League clubs, following an impressive World Cup campaign with Morocco at the end of last year. He helped the African nation reach the semi-finals before being beaten 2-0 by eventual runners-up France.

As well as impressing on the international stage, Amrabat, whose brother, Nordin, says United manager Erik ten Hag "is charmed by" the midfielder, has also enjoyed a productive campaign at club level with Fiorentina. He made 49 appearances in all competitions, playing a key role in their run to the final of the UEFA Europa Conference League earlier this week.

Many believe that Wednesday night's 2-1 defeat to West Ham United in Prague may have signalled Amrabat's final appearance for the Italian side amid ongoing speculation concerning his future. And the Moroccan has taken to Instagram to address the defeat to the Hammers, saying that he was proud to have been part of a team that reached two cup finals and that the club will "challenge once again" in the coming years.
