Soccer Aid 2022 charity match is in full swing and the thrilling first half saw goals from both teams. American social media personality Noah Beck, 21, scored the first goal at 7:58pm for Team World XI, while TV personality Mark Wright, 35, levelled with an equaliser at 8:19pm for Team England.

Singer and television personality Peter Andre, 49, was one of the celebrities manning the phones and gathering donations for Soccer Aid. Trying to encapsulate the mood of the nation, he said: "Everybody is loving what's going on."

If you are watching riveting footballing action unfold on ITV, it may feel as if you're playing spot-the-celebrity on the pitch. This year's participants mean the football match is a star-studded affair, both on and off the pitch.

Liam Payne's Team England is up against Usain Bolt's Team World XI. So far, players from both teams are giving it their best shot with standout performances from Chunkz and Sir Mo Farah.

Each team has an incredible line-up with celebrities from the world of sport and entertainment. This game is all the more fun for fans of the BBC blockbuster drama Line of Duty.

Viewers can enjoy watching Nottingham-born actress Vicky McClure who plays Kate Fleming in the series, being pitted against fellow Line of Duty actor Martin Compston who plays Steve Arnott in the BAFTA-winning show. The dynamic duo are usually on the same team, however for one night only, McClure, 39, is managing Team England whilst Compston, 38, is a player on rival Team World XI.
