Rio Ferdinand has poked fun at former Manchester United teammate Patrica Evra during Soccer Aid.
The Frenchman is playing for the World XI at the London Stadium as they look to back up their success of 12 months ago, which Evra also played in. The former pro retired back in 2018 and was a little off the pace as he air kicked the ball before scything down Olympian Mo Farah.
Ferdinand was quick to mock his former colleague as he recorded the incident, which he then put on social media with several laughing emojis. He simply included the caption: "Pattty" with more laughing emojis. Evra is playing alongside fellow former pros Cafu, Roberto Carlos and Andriy Schevchenko.
Evra enjoyed a trophy-laden career during his career, helping United win the Champions League in 2008. Whilst at Old Trafford he also claimed several Premier League medals, later going on to enjoy success at Juventus, helping them reach the Champions League final in 2015.
He has been hugely outspoken about the current state of affairs at his former club in recent years. Evra was also involved in a recent war of words with Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola after accusing them of lacking personality before the Catalan referenced his victory over Evra and United in the 2011 Champions
