Smoke billows from roof of derelict pub in Middleton - live updates

A derelict pub is reportedly on fire in Middleton. A video sent to the Manchester Evening News in the last few minutes shows The New White Lion pub on fire.

The pub closed in 2010, according to CAMRA. Not much else is known about the incident at the current time.

A Twitter user known as Drone Over Mcr said: "Building fire in Middleton. The New White Lion Pub."

Both Greater Manchester Police and Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service have been contacted for comment.

Stagecoach have announced several services are affected by the incident, as outlined below.
