Liverpool quiz: How much do you remember from their incredible 2021/22 season?

Liverpool’s 2021/22 season is finally over.

Jurgen Klopp’s side played in every match possible as they threatened to complete a historic quadruple.

In the end, it wasn’t to be for the Reds.

Liverpool have to settle for a domestic cup double after beating Chelsea in the final of both the Carabao Cup and FA Cup on penalties.

In the Premier League, they fell one point short of Manchester City as Pep Guardiola’s side needed a comeback victory over Aston Villa on the final day to pip Liverpool to the title.

Then, six days later, Liverpool lost 1-0 to Real Madrid in the Champions League in Paris.

But try telling Liverpool fans they had a disappointing season.

Yes, okay, the final week was pretty nightmarish. But the scenes we witnessed in the city as Liverpool paraded their two domestic cups – as well as the Women’s team parading their league title – show just how incredible this campaign really has been.

It may not have been the quadruple but it’s a season that Liverpool fans and players won’t be forgetting in a hurry.
