Slim Albaher vs Ryan Taylor fight is off just two days after Astrid Wett withdraws from event

YouTuber Slim Albaher has been forced to pull out of his boxing match against Ryan Taylor due to a torn retina in his left eye.

Albaher was due to battle Taylor for the ultimate bragging rights on the undercard of Simple Simon vs Ed Matthews on July 16.

The TikTok boxing event, dubbed ‘Settling Scores’, is currently set to take place next month at the Indigo at London’s O2 Arena.

But he revealed the devastating news of his injury, which he says was all his opponent’s fault.

The former best friends turned bitter enemies hurled insults at each other as tensions threatened to boil over on stage at a pre-fight press conference in London last week.

However, it apparently didn’t stop there either, as the pair were involved in a physical altercation at a hotel shortly after the event had finished.

Albaher, 27, told his YouTube channel: “I started walking away and Ryan Taylor being the cheap shot scumbag starts following me and screaming in my face ‘Look me in the eyes when I’m talking to you’ and I’m fully ignoring him.

“And then Ryan Taylor gets so close to my face and I still didn’t give him no eye contact or anything and he literally just shoves me.

“He shoved me so hard out of nowhere like I did not expect it to the point where I fell to the ground and I’m like ‘What’s going on?’

“Adam Saleh, he was also there with me, he tried to step in. And when he steps in, he gets choked out by professional Bellator MMA fighter Kane Mousah. He grabs him, he puts him in a chokehold.”
