Oleksandr Usyk vs Anthony Joshua 2: AJ shows off lightning hand speed

Anthony Joshua’s career is coming to a key juncture.

He will turn 33 in October and so may only have a handful of fights remaining in his professional career. He has achieved so much in his career, beginning with the Olympic Gold in London in 2012.

Joshua has also held the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO and IBO world heavyweight titles, and has a professional record of 24 wins and 2 losses in his 26 professional fights.

His rematch against Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia on the 20th August is seen by many as his final opportunity to remain at the top table of heavyweight boxing. Win and regain his four heavyweight belts and he can then set his agenda going forwards.

He looks like a former champ on the slide, which is a lot harder sell for Eddie Hearn, Joshua’s promotor.

The urgency and importance of his upcoming fight can be seen in this video of Joshua working out during his camp in preparation for the Usyk fight.

He looks in really good shape, a little leaner than in previous fights and that is no bad thing. Joshua is a power puncher, but his hand speed and foot speed have been lacking in recent fights.
