Harry Kane was the toast of Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday evening as he helped the north Londoners to a 2-0 victory against Brighton & Hove Albion. The England forward netted with a typically predatory finish to secure three points after Cristian Romero gave his side the lead with a deflected effort.

Whilst Kane's goal was crucial in the way that it hauled Spurs to three points on the south Coast, it was also saw him reach a significant milestone having become the highest-scoring player away from home in Premier League history. In doing so, he moved ahead of former Manchester United man Wayne Rooney.

The win has helped alleviate some pressure on the Spurs squad after a loss against Man United at the weekend, but there is much work to be done if they are to qualify for the Champions League this season.
