Ian Wright has claimed that ‘any team in the world’ would want Harry Kane and urged Liverpool to sign the Tottenham striker. The 28-year-old was heavily linked with a move to Manchester City last summer but remained in north London, with Spurs not entertaining any bids for his services.

City have thrived this season despite failing to land Kane, however they are expected to test the Lilywhites' resolve to hang on to their talisman again this summer. And they could face competition from Manchester United who reportedly want him to replace Cristiano Ronaldo, amid speculation that the Portuguese forward will leave the club at the end of the season.

Kane has spent his entire career at Tottenham but is yet to win a major trophy and Wright hopes that he finally gets his hands on some silverware but hinted that he may need to leave north London in order to do so.
