Sky Sports man drops comment live on air that will anger Spurs supporters

Sky Sports pundit Roy Keane has provided a three-word dig at Tottenham Hotspur ahead of their Premier League clash next weekend.

Spurs travel to Old Trafford on Saturday to face Keane’s former club and the Irishman does not believe Manchester United will have much to worry about.

And it could be a huge fixture in the race for the top four, with the two sides still looking to leapfrog Arsenal for the final spot in the Champions League positions.

When the two sides met earlier in the season, the 3-0 victory for the Red Devils led to Nuno Espirito Santo being relieved of his duties at Spurs just days later.

Following the Red Devils’ humiliating display against Manchester City on Sunday, the pundit did not seem too concerned about the prospect of facing Antonio Conte’s men: “It’s only Spurs next,” said Keane.

“They’ll beat Spurs,” the Irishman further added.

TIF Thoughts on Keane’s comments…

There are probably a few Tottenham supporters who would actually agree with Keane given the north London club’s form since the turn of the year, though recalling an infamous Alex Ferguson team-talk may not leave many Lilywhites too happy with the former midfielder.

However, we also think there will be some concerns among the United faithful following their embarrassing defeat at the hands of City on Sunday.

Spurs looked a much better outfit than United in their recent clash at the Etihad Stadium, but Conte’s side are struggling massively to put down any kind of consistency.
