'Sign of a good team' - Huddersfield Town supporters react to crucial Hull City victory
Huddersfield Town got back to winning ways at Hull City. Town had been dominant in the game but it took a bundled finish from Harry Toffolo in the 79th minute to settle the game and it put Carlos Corberan's side back on track in their bid to seal a playoff place, or even unsettle Bournemouth in the second automatic promotion spot.
Despite the closeness of the scoreline, Town largely kept the Tigers out of the game, pinning them back in their own box for large parts of the second half. Corberan spoke of being pleased that his side limited Hull to 'one big chance at the end', as hearts were in mouths as Allahyar Sayyadmanesh headed wide in stoppage time. Meanwhile, there were multiple penalty shouts turned down for the Terriers.
On social media, Huddersfield fans have been sharing their views on the performance and are pleased to see the playoff pushing form return, whilst the referee came in for a lot of criticism. Here are a selection of tweets:
"Needed that win....."
