Should Celtic replace Joe Hart and is Rangers forward line an upgrade on last season? Saturday Jury

MICHAEL GANNON: It’s a position that will probably need addressed in the long term but in the immediate future Hart is more than capable. There’s the occasional blip but he’s been a solid keeper for Celts.

GORDON PARKS:Celtic should always be looking to recruit at the highest level but Hart has another good season left in him. It does not harm to have a quality back up breathing down your neck.

FRASER WILSON: The microscope will always be on Old Firm keepers but Joe Hart remains a top keeper who makes big saves in big games. Celtic might bring in a challenger but whether he ousts Hart would be doubtful. The knives were out for Craig Gordon and they replaced him with Vasilis Barkas. That should serve as a warning.

MICHAEL: Time will tell. You’d have to think they will be an upgrade on the Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent of last season. The good thing for Rangers is they have plenty of options.

GORDON: Without a shadow of a doubt. Fashion Sakala and Rabbi Matondo are hit and miss merchants. Whether these recruits can bring the missing ingredient to Ibrox remains to be seen but they must be an upgrade.

FRASER: Yes. Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent went missing for the majority of last season but were still considered the main threats at Ibrox so undoubtedly a freshness and hunger was needed. Michael Beale has got that and now it’s down to the players to show just how good they are.

MICHAEL: Most definitely. Goodwin had the backing of the fans despite doing down but the goodwill is fading fast. He desperately needs a couple of wins to steady the ship.
