Wolves have not been reluctant in terms of spending money on bringing new players to Molineux over the past few years with Fabio Silva, Nelson Semedo and Raul Jimenez to name a few.

One player, in particular, that the club signed for a fairly substantial fee that has gone on to more than prove his worth for the Old Gold is midfielder Ruben Neves.

Back in February 2018, Transfermarkt rated Neves’ market value at £13.5m, but after a sublime few years, it now stands at a whopping £36m, showing a significant rise of 167% based on what he’s been able to deliver for the club on the pitch.

With four goals and two assists under his belt in 27 Premier League appearances this season, the former Porto star has shown what an all-around midfielder he is by racking up more shots on target (15) than any other Wolves player and more tackles and interceptions combined (110) than any other Old Gold midfielder or attacker.
