Barcelona president Joan Laporta has confirmed that a solution that would see Francisco Trincao permanently sign for Wolves, allowing Adama Traore to remain at Barcelona is on the cards.

“I think a swap deal with Wolves between Francisco Trincao and Adama Traore could be a very good option,” said Laporta.

This comes despite the Portuguese forward’s poor form during his loan spell at the club, and with Pedro Neto returning from injury, surely there won’t be too many more opportunities handed to him by manager Bruno Lage.

So will Trincao be a good signing for Wolves, or a just as bad sequel to the underwhelming first chapter?
