Sheffield Wednesday fans send message to Chansiri with Moore and League One verdict

Sheffield Wednesday supporters are confident their team will secure a top-six finish in League One this season.

With 14 matches remaining, the Owls are only outside the play-off places on goal difference. Darren Moore's side are in good form heading into the business end of the campaign, having chalked up six victories from their last eight matches.

Wednesday have battled a raft of injuries throughout the season, with Moore still unable to call upon 11 first-team players. Two of Moore's three January additions: Harlee Dean and Tyreece John-Jules, are unlikely to figure again until March and April respectively.

Expectation levels soared at Hillsborough after Moore's big summer rebuild. He overhauled the squad, bringing in 15 new faces before the end of August.

There have been times where Moore has copped his fair share of flak from the Owls faithful. His team struggled for consistency in the first half of the season.

But recent performances and results would suggest Wednesday are starting to peak just at the right time.

YorkshireLive asked our readers for their opinion on the Owls' campaign to date, the job Moore has done and where they think the team will finish in a recent survey.

Here are the key findings from the 650-plus responses we obtained:

It is clear from the results that Wednesdayites have given up hope of sealing a top-two finish. Given they trail second-placed Wigan Athletic by eight points and the Latics still have two games hand on them, it looks a big ask.

Yet the play-offs is very much within their grasp. Moore is convinced the team are in a good place and are heading in the right direction.

An exciting finish to the season lies in store.
