Sheffield Wednesday squad revealed for Cambridge United as Darren Moore faces striker quandary

Sheffield Wednesday's next three matches will not define their season, according to manager Darren Moore.

The Owls, lying a point outside of the League One play-offs, kick off a busy week with a home clash against Cambridge United.

After hosting the U's, Wednesday welcome Accrington Stanley to Hillsborough in their rearranged clash on Tuesday before travelling to relegation-threatened Gillingham a week today.

"I wouldn’t say it is going to make or break the season because there is still so much football to be played," Moore told Yorkshire Live. "We have still got to finish off the month of March and we have got seven games in the month of April.

"We are taking it one game at a time and the rest will take care of itself."

Cambridge, promoted out of League Two last season, sit comfortably in mid-table.

Moore said: "I think Mark Bonner (Cambridge manager) has done a great job there. They came up last season and showed clear stability and understanding. They are a team that can mix it up. They are a team that can get the ball down and pass it. They are a team that can get the ball forward and cause you problems.

"They have got some wonderful attacking players.

"We have got to be absolutely spot on defensively and offensively we are going to have to be at our level best. Cambridge have shown they are a team more than capable of getting results when you least expect them to. They have gone on the road and at home picked up some fantastic results against good opposition in the division."

Moore faces a striking selection dilemma. He has Lee Gregory, Saido Berahino, Callum Paterson, Florian Kamberi and Sylla Sow battling it out for two spots.
