Sene Naoupu cleared to face Scots as red card rescinded
Ireland centre Sene Naoupu has been cleared to play against Scotland in the TikTok Women's Six Nations this Saturday after the red card she received against England was rescinded.
The Grand Slam-chasing English powered to a 69-0 win at Welford Road on Sunday.
Naoupu, who was featuring in her first game of the tournament, was red-carded in the 68th minute for a high tackle on Emily Scarratt.
However the red has been wiped out after an independent judicial committee deemed that the contact was indirect.
Ireland finish their Six Nations against the Scots at Kingspan Stadium on Saturday night. Their only win to date came against Italy, who were beaten 29-8 at Musgrave Park.
