Seattle Seahawks: Coby Bryant's incredible catch during minicamp should leave fans buzzing

Seattle Seahawks cornerback Coby Bryant, no relation to former NBA Star Kobe, has pulled off a remarkable catch during the team’s minicamp.

The Seattle Seahawks are pretty much entering into the unknown this offseason, as they are doing something that they haven’t had to do in over a decade, and that’s find out who their starting quarterback is.

That mantle has been held down by Russell Wilson since the 2012 season, but after he was traded to the Denver Broncos this past offseason, it’s now a battle between Geno Smith and Drew Lock to find out who is going to be the guy under centre.

With Smith and Lock having records of 13-21 and 8-13 respectively, unless there is a large uptick in performance from whoever gets the job, then it might be a long road ahead for the team, and they might have to rely on their defense to help them out.

Now defense is something that the Seahawks have prided themselves on in the past, as their ‘Legion of Boom’ unit of the 2010s helped set the stage for the team to be highly competitive in the league, and if Coby Bryant is anything to go by, they might just be able to recreate that.

The 23-year-old is a 4th round draft pick for the Seahawks from this year’s draft out of the University of Cincinnati, where he made 44 total tackles in his senior year to go along with 11 pass deflections, 2 forced fumbles and one pick-six as the Bearcats made it all the way to the College Football Playoff before losing to Alabama.
