Baltimore Ravens: WR James Proche II completes incredible throw during minicamp

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver James Proche II has pulled off an incredible throw during the team’s minicamp sessions.

The Baltimore Ravens are in a bit of a sticky situation when it comes to their quarterback situation right now. They are involved in negotiations with franchise quarterback Lamar Jackson over a new long-term deal and the expectation is that a deal will get done eventually.

Jackson has ended his holdout and is practicing with the team as they get ready for the 2022 NFL season and the vibe coming from the camp appears to be a positive one. However, until the pen is put to paper, there is still the chance that something might change at the last minute to give a whole new perspective on the matter. 

Luckily, it looks as if they might have found someone else to turn to just in case things don’t go the way they want, and funnily enough he isn’t part of the Ravens’ quarterbacks room. 

The player in question is 25-year-old James Proche II, one of the team’s wide receivers who has also found himself used on special teams, returning a number of kicks and punts during his two seasons in the NFL so far. 

With the offensive talent at their disposal, such as Marquise Brown – before he was traded to the Arizona Cardinals, Sammy Watkins, Rashod Bateman and tight end Mark Andrews, that’s on top of Jackson’s electric feet, and finding opportunities to make a name for yourself that far down the ladder was always going to be hard, which is why he’s been limited to just 17 receptions and 216 receiving yards so far in his career, failing to find the endzone.

But this latest video might just give him a new role in the offense moving forward.
