Scottish Cup draw as Celtic host Livingston, Rangers travel to Hibs and Aberdeen and Morton land home quarter final ties

Holders Celtic will host Scottish Premiership basement boys Livingston in the Scottish Cup quarter finals after their win over St Mirren in Paisley.

Brendan Rodgers has never lost a tie in the tournament and he continued that perfect record thanks to goals from Kyogo and Daizen Maeda. The Hoops will now be heavy favourites to progress against David Martindale's struggling Lions.

Rivals Rangers were handed a tough tie in the last eight draw as they travel Easter Road to take on Hibs, who beat them in the 2016 final, as they look to keep alive their hopes of a domestic treble. Aberdeen haven't won the Scottish Cup since 1990 and veteran boss Neil Warnock is desperate to end that run but he will have to overcome former Dons manager Derek McInnes after Kilmarnock were handed a trip to Pittodrie. Championship outfit Morton were rewarded for their stunning win over Premiership Motherwell with a home tie as the winners of the final last-16 tie between Airdrie and Hearts were drawn to go to Cappielow. The quarter final ties will be played over the weekend of March 9/10.
