Scott Hall dies: The Rock offers touching tribute following tragic death

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has posted a touching tribute following the tragic passing of WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall.

The wrestling world was saddened yesterday to hear of the passing of Scott Hall (aka Razor Ramon) yesterday after his family turned off his life support.

Hall was placed onto life support over the weekend after suffering several heart attacks following complications from routine hip surgery.

Since the news of his passing emerged, the wrestling world has come together to post tribute and their stories of Scott Hall, who by all accounts, was a great friend and colleague.

Following the likes of Hulk Hogan, Triple H and others, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has now posted his own tribute for Scott Hall.

Taking to Instagram, the former WWE Champion said that wrestling had “lost a legend” following Scott Hall’s passing.

Rock said that Hall was an “athletically gifted” and “extraordinarily talented” wrestler, going on to dub him as an “intense athlete”.

Rocky explained that before one his matches in 2002 with Scott Hall, he told his opponent just “how much his in-ring work influenced [him], saying that he studied Hall’s matches as a rookie.

The Rock went on to add that Hall was shocked to hear that from him, noting that Scott thought it was “so cool” that he was wrestling someone who studied his matches.

The pair, in the words of The Rock, then “went out there that night and lit it the f*ck up inside that ring.”

Several WWE stars, including Kevin Owens, paid tribute to Scott Hall on last night’s episode of WWE Raw, which you can read more about by clicking here.

Once again, everyone here at GiveMeSport would like to extend their best wishes and condolences to the friends, family and fans of Scott Hall at this
